WHS where, after inscription, the geographical scope has been significantly reduced. Also includes those where solid plans (on T list or as minor boundary modification) for such a reduction exist or have existed.

Dutch Water Defence Lines At the 2021 extension, 7 areas from the original WHS were proposed to be removed. ICOMOS agreed on 6 out of the 7.
Gelati Monastery "Lost" Bagrati Cathedral in 2017, which had undergone major reconstruction detrimental to its integrity and authenticity.
Panamá The current WHS of Panamá is part of a renomination effort (The Colonial Transisthmian Route of Panamá), it is expected that not all of the current site will be included.
Tasmanian Wilderness Proposal by Australian government in 2014 to reduce area by 5% to allow logging. Minor boundary modification was rejected and Australia later abandoned the plan.
Western Caucasus "intention of the State Party to submit a proposal for a boundary modification by excluding parts of the Lagonaki plateau from the property which are reported to be degraded" (2014)
Willandra Lakes 1995: Reduction of about 30%
